Karin Iris Sixl-Daniell

Karin Iris Sixl-Daniell is the Programme Co-Director for the Management Programme for Entrepreneurs and Family Businesses, which is offered jointly by the Nadathur S. Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) and U21Global. She was the first professor to teach at U21Global and is accredited to teach Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management and Managing International Business. Before her appointment at U21Global, Dr Sixl-Daniell was Assistant Professor and Deputy Head at the Institute of International Management, University of Graz, Austria, where she consistently received excellent feedback for her teaching.
She has extensive industry experience, having established her own research and advisory business in Singapore, and having co-founded a startup business (of which she served on the board of directors) in her native country. Dr Sixl-Daniell holds a doctorate in Social and Economic Sciences (Business Administration) and two Masters degrees - one in economics and the other in healthcare management. Her interests include international business, cross-cultural management, organisational behaviour, strategic management and human resource management.
Dr Sixl-Daniell is a member of the Advisory Panel to the Citigroup-INSEAD Financial Education for Women initiative (FinEdx) and is the co-author of her book Wealth Wisdom for Everyone, which was made into a 26-episode TV series on Channel NewsAsia.
