Joseph SANTORA

Joseph Santora is a Professor of Business and Management at Essex County College, New Jersey, US. Since 1982, he has been managing director at TSTDCG, Inc., a consulting firm that has worked with various organisations on leadership development, board training and succession planning. He is scheduled to be a visiting professor at the International School of Management (ISM), Paris, France to teach Executive Leadership in the EMBA and DBA program in late 2004. In 1996, he was appointed a Visiting Professorial Fellow at Monash-Mt. Eliza Business School, Mt Eliza, Victoria, Australia.

Dr Santora has published two books and contributed more than 70 articles, teaching cases, research translations, encyclopaedia entries and reviews in international journals and books. His articles have appeared in Academy Management Review, British Academy of Management, Career Development International, Journal of Leadership Studies, Journal of Management Education, Leadership & Organization Development Journal, Nonprofit World, Nonprofit Management & Leadership, and The Practicing Manager. He serves on a number of editorial boards and was the book review editor for the Journal of Leadership Studies. He has received recognition for his research from the British Academy of Management and the University of San Francisco. He completed post-doctoral studies at Harvard University and New York University, after receiving his doctorate in Administration, Policy and Urban Education from Fordham University, New York
